Neelu Kalra, MD
I enjoy treating patients of all ages from infants to the elderly. My strength is in delivering effective treatment options to meet each patient’s unique needs.
I completed my residency and fellowship at Penn State University, where I received rigorous training in complex allergic diseases, asthma, and immune deficiency. During my fellowship I served as chief fellow and later as an Assistant Professor training future physicians and advancing clinical care. I graduated medical school as a gold medalist, achieving the highest academic distinction.
My academic work includes peer reviewed publications, text book chapters and contributions to clinical trials. I remain active in national scientific meetings to stay at the forefront of emerging therapies. I mentor and teach upcoming physicians from KU Medicine and Kansas osteopathic college of medicine.
Living in one of the most challenging allergy regions in the country, many Kansas patients still lack access to comprehensive, specialized allergy and immunology care. My clinic is created to close this gap. I provide expert, personalized care for everything, from day-to-day allergies to the most complex allergic and immunologic conditions, using the latest evidence-based and innovative treatments to help patients achieve lasting control and an improved quality of life.
